Members that have their phone number listed on their BEC account can text in outages! Outage texting includes confirmation & restoral messages.

Members can contact the Billing Department at 1-800-322-1008 to update their mobile number or click below.





 












 

 Complete your Registration by following the provided link, next:

  1. Accept Terms of Agreement.
  2. Enter account number and cell phone number. Click Go.
  3. Enter e-mail and create password. Click register.
  4. Enter verification code from cell phone. Click verify. Note if cell phone number is not listed on your Barron Electric account, please wait 24-48 hours to complete registration.
  5. If multiple accounts, select account number to be included in outage texting. 
  6. If no keywords are found, please wait 24-48 hours to complete registration.
  7. Once information is entered correctly, you will receive a message that states, "You're all set! Text "outage" to 55050 to report your outage."
  8.  Message and data rates may apply. Messages are recurring. To cancel, text "Stop" to 55050.
